Trail Report...

2-18-18 Hi, folks! We received anywhere from 6" to 10" of fresh snow today that was much needed! Conditions are good with the trails being very firm and holding up nicely. We will be able to resume regular grooming! As always, check back here for updates.

Our club takes care of some of the most beautiful trails anywhere in northern Minnesota. We work hard to clear them of brush in the fall and then to groom them in the winter. If you encounter any safety hazards while riding our trails, please do not hesitate to let us know. If there is an item that requires immediate attention, please call our Trail Administrator, Brad, at 218.780.8777.

The Bearskin Trail runs west from Cook about 28 miles to the intersection with the Tim Corey snowmobile trail just north and west of the Side Lake area.

The Wolftrack Trail runs south from Cook about 20 miles to the intersection with the Taconite state snowmobile trail. You may click here for state trail updates.

The Cook access trail runs east from Cook to the intersection with the Arrowhead state snowmobile trail. PLEASE - use caution while riding through town and keep your speed down.

    The Vermilion River...

Another alternate route option is the Susan Lake/Elbow Lake portage. One end starts around the corner from The Landing to the north on the West end of Lake Vermilion and it follows Black Lake onto Susan Lake onto Elbow Lake where you then can access the Arrowhead State Snowmobile Trail via the Ban Lake Road by traveling a short distance on it west or by following the Elbow Lake Road to access the Arrowhead State Trail to the north.
